Terms of Service

TwigDo is a trading name of Sequel AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under registered number 16897137. Our registered address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. These Terms of Service constitute a legal agreement between you and Sequel AI Ltd ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

TwigDo is a visual task-management application. A free, local-first tier runs entirely in your browser; paid tiers add cloud sync, collaboration and agent (MCP) connectivity.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Your content

You own your content — projects, tasks, notes and attachments are yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, sync and display that content back to you and to people you explicitly share it with.

On the free tier your content is held only in your own browser's local storage and is never transmitted to us. That storage is controlled by your browser, not by us: clearing site data, using private browsing, resetting or uninstalling the browser, or the browser reclaiming space will delete it, and it does not carry over to other browsers or devices. We hold no copy and cannot restore it. Keeping backups on the free tier — via the built-in JSON export — is your responsibility. Paid plans additionally store your content on our servers so it can sync across devices.

4. Paid plans & billing

• Subscriptions (Solo Pro, Team Block) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Founder Lifetime licences are one-time payments for the lifetime of the product, are limited in number, and are tied to a single user account.
• We offer a 30-day no-questions refund on all first-time paid purchases — email hello@twigdo.com.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for, and Lifetime licences are honoured as sold.
• Team Block plans are limited to the seat count purchased. Seat blocks are flat-rate and don't auto-expand.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; abuse, probe or disrupt the Service; resell or sublicense access without our written consent; use the MCP connector or any API in a way that degrades the Service for others; or upload content you have no right to share.

6. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or retire features; if a change materially reduces a paid feature during your paid period, you're entitled to a pro-rata refund for that period.

7. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £50 for free users). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, synced content is deleted per our Privacy Policy; export anything you need first.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you mandatory local rights.
